In the first interview (phone), I was told this job was hybrid with 3 in-office days and 2 remote days each week. The interview went well and the second interview was quickly scheduled. The second interview was in-person, so I had to take a few hours off from my current job to attend. When it began, I was informed the job was actually 4 in-office days each week, and I got the vibe that they would have preferred all 5. The interview seemed to go very well – they were talking to me as if I was already part of the team (using "You will" statements rather than "You would", asking when I was available to start, etc) When I left they told me I would hear from them the following week. However, I never heard from them again, even when I followed up 2 weeks later. At minimum, a courtesy rejection email would have been appreciated. The whole process was misleading and a waste of my time.
