Interview
Very quick interview process. Took all of a week! I was called on a Monday to come in for an interview on a Wednesday. Interview took about 1.5 hours, I think. Part of the interview consisted of taking a math test to determine that I had the skills necessary to operate as a cashier. I don't remember how many questions had to be correct on the math test. After the math test, I was interviewed 1 on 1 with one of the store managers. She was very nice, and the overall experience was pleasant. I was called on Thursday to come in for a second interview on Friday morning. I went in on Friday morning and was interviewed by the same woman and another man who was her supervisor. This interview was about 45 min. They were both very nice. The man called me on Friday afternoon to offer me the cashier position at an hourly wage of about $7. I had put on the application that I was looking for at least $8 because I needed to earn enough to pay my student loans, so I was a bit disappointed. Although, I do understand their situation since my area is a very small town. He told me he could offer me a max of $7.25 / hr. Unfortunately, this was still too low for me. So, I had to politely decline their offer. Otherwise, I would have been happy to work there! Sorry I can't remember more. The interview was quite a while ago!
