I applied in 5/16 and received an email inviting me to an interview in 7/16. They fly you to and from the info session/F2F but you're responsible for the hotel costs. (This is all based on my experience, yours might be different) This interview was extremely laid back, the other reviewers weren't kidding. They're so friendly and they all seem to love the job they have! When you get there, you'll start with an information session on the company (please pay attention) and a period where you can ask questions. Then you'll take a break, and if the company isn't for you you'll be free to leave at that time. When you get back you'll be given a short test on info from the session and some math. There's some 'trick' questions (not really, you just have to read the question fully), but it's not a pass or fail test. Just a test to see if you can pay attention. After the tests are handed in, you'll each go up in front of the group (there was around 30 or so in mine) and answer a few questions. You'll also read a fight announcement. Be careful when going up, and try not to ramble. Pay attention to the questions and use the STAR method to answering the customer service based one. Also SMILE!! After everyone has gone, you'll be broken up into groups and you'll have to preform a group activity. Make sure you're getting involved, because they will be watching your teamwork skills. Each group will then be called up to present their work. Try to let everyone in the group equally present. When everyone is done presenting, there will be one more break and that's when they'll make cuts. Out of the 30+ people in my group, only 10 were invited to stay for the F2F. They put up a list and if your name is on it, you're golden. Everyone else is dismissed. The F2F isn't really an interview, by the time the group activity was over they knew who they wanted to hire. You'll be called in one by one in the order of your returning flight time, and they'll just ask you a couple of yes, no and basic questions (Any criminal charges? Do you mind relocation? Where would you want to be based? etc.) and why you want to be a flight attendant. When they ask if you have any questions for them, I recommend asking them something. You want to show that you're interested in learning more, and you should be! When it's over they'll tell you that they'll give you a call/email either way to let you know if you've made it by the end of the week or the next week. I got my CJO the next day!
