Interview
Straight forward, just a few rounds and focus. kinow your resume inside and out and enjou the process as it goes by.Be sure to have fun and dont let it control you if you feel you are doing badly; It is jsut part of the experience to jump through highly presured hoops and once it ends you will see the light.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Walk me through your resume. Then asking ridiculous questions. Why Piper Jaffray and why in the middle market. What opportunities do you see here and where do you see yourself in 10 years. What are some interesting deals you have heard of involving us and what would you do the same
4 rounds. 30-45 min each spread across 4 weeks. 2 Associates, 1 director, 1 Managing director. Slow process but interviews were ok. This was for their investment banking division in New York.
Friendly. Lots of questions about previous deals worked on. Several light technicals. Focus on current job, responsibilities, particularly on calls. 1 initial interview over zoom. Then a 2 on 1 interview
First stage was an assessment followed by a hirevue video interview followed by a first round interview with an analyst and associate and then there was an assessment centre in the office with two associates and a vice president
