My interview was at a table near the entrance of the gym. I thought it was a little odd that it wasn't more private, but whatever. I am over 50 and I could tell that the interviewer, though polite, was not at all interested in hiring an older person. Going in, I knew that Planet Fitness generally only hires people under 30 so I wasn't expecting to be hired. The manager interviewing me was scribbling/doodling in a notebook the entire time, pretending to be taking notes. The interview was short and the emphasis was on cleaning duties and selling memberships.
