I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Planet Fitness (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2016
Interview
Depends on candidate. Interview can either be 3 steps, or one step. Interview includes tour of gym and expectations for cleaning. Initial interview can be large group of people. They may call you back for an interview with the assistant manager or manager and then another one with both of them.
The interview process was very good. Just a couple of questions and I was off. Manager was very kind, polite and friendly during the interview. Did not expect as much from a minimum wage job.
It took almost two weeks to get a call for an interview. I had a phone interview with the general manager. I was asked a few questions before I was schedule for an interview in person.
