Got a LinkedIn message asking me to apply online. I asked the "recruiter" if we can discuss the position before applying because I'm a passive candidate and wanted more information before I go through the process. He asked me to apply first before we can discuss. This type of dialogue doesn't lend well to a good candidate experience. Seems like they need to show an increase in applicant data.
