Planet Systems Administrator interview questions

Applied online and was contacted by recruiter to schedule first phone interview. I spoke with one of the HR who kept asking me about visa status, green card processing and all useless stuffs other than interviewing me even after telling him clearly that I was authorized to work. He wanted me to get back to him reconfirming about my visa status which I did in almost 10 mins after the interview. Then i get a email from them that they are not moving forward with me. Really pathetic behavior and a total waste of time. Why should they shortlist me for this position then? Need to improve on interviewing process.
