I was disappointed in my experience with Host Analytics a few months ago. I had a successful phone screen, and the recruiter sent me an assignment to complete at home to bring to the onsite. After she sent me the assignment, I had clarifying questions about it. Apparently she was turned off by my clarifying questions because she sent an email to me, canceling her onsite interview request and said that the role was put on hold, but wanted to assure me that she was impressed by our phone conversation and that she would be in touch if it reopened in the future. News flash: I told my friend to apply to the role, and the recruiter contacted my friend and interviewed her! The role was clearly still open. Additionally, I checked who they ended up hiring a few weeks later: a white guy, and he was younger than me.
