Interview
The process began with a 30-minute introductory call with the Hiring Manager. This was followed by a second interview with the Hiring Manager and the Director of Engineering (or a similar senior role). The third session was more technical, involving an in-depth discussion with the Architect and two Engineering Managers. We covered architectural topics, technical decision-making, and system design, as well as people management scenarios. During this session, I also gained valuable insights into the company’s teams, engineering structure, and technical processes. The final step was a closing conversation with the Hiring Manager to align impressions and next steps from both sides.
Throughout the entire process, the team was very welcoming and open to questions, which made the experience highly engaging. Overall, I had a great time and left with a very positive impression of the company and their interview process.

How do you manage conflicts within team, previous experience working with Java and micro-services.

Interview
A light conversation with people from the interviewers who are QA and another person from the team (Julian Y. and Ivaylo M.). In general, people were not prepared to interview someone who has more technical knowledge and engineering experience than them. They seemed like people who are afraid to hire someone more experienced than them.
The conversation was slow and embarrassed, as the team is small and they sounded like they were not happy there and not doing interesting things.
- For comparison: after that I had 3 interviews with similar questions and in 3 I got a positive and a job offer only here people were sad and demotivated.
