I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Potbelly Sandwich Works (Laurel, MD) in May 2015
Interview
Applied a written application in-store. Had to call back to schedule an interview, which was 3 days after I called. The hiring manager was a very bubbly person and made me feel comfortable enough. In the end I didn't get the job because "I didn't make enough eye contact", and I did poorly on the situational questions. My advice is too stare directly at the interviewer even when they aren't looking at you and too also prepare a couple scenarios in your past to recollect during the interview.

I responded to an add on craigslist. I came in with a resume. After reviewing my resume they asked me to fill out an application. After finishing it I waited patiently to speak with the hiring manager. He interviewed me on the spot. It was in the afternoon after the rush was over and business had died down. I interviewed confidently and was offered a the job. The confidence came from my prior food experience. He later told me that he figured with all my experience there was no way he could go wrong.
