Don't get me wrong. I love the company purpose but how they dealt was really wrong.
First, I've applied for Salesforce Administrator lead position. Looking at my resume they've moved me to Salesforce Developer position which they just opened. I was already interviewed for the other position for 1 hour. Then they put me back to same interview but for Salesforce Developer role this time. Again 1 hour. Next, they gave me 6 hours worth of task which I've done and submitted. They had setup another 1 hour of interview (2nd round) which I've attended and answered all of their technical questions. At the end they just came up with this ...
"Thank you again for your interest in Power Factors. We appreciated the opportunity to speak with you, and we were overall impressed with your background and your experience.
The interview went well and I got positive feedback from the rest of the team.
However, due to internal reorganization and out of control circumstancs, it has been decided that the recruitment for this role will be put on hold until 2022.
If you allow, I would like to keep your application in our database for any further consideration or future re-opening.
Meanwhile, we wish you success in your future endeavors."
I'm sorry that's a lot of time spent for the position. Not even an apology! JUST TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY! I don't suppose there would be lot of protection for the employees when management decides something odd.
