I should of walked out when I saw that they were holding interviews was a wholefoods of all places. Should of walked out when I waited 50 mins to be interview (I was 15 min earlier ).Should of walked out when the interviewer (who was a customer I met at my real job) couldn't keep his sales pitch straight; asking me about my life, family, hobbies, finicial background etc and answering a basic question like "what will my day task look like and how much will I be paid hourly.
I stayed.
Just to call the Interviewer out on all BS that he was feeding me and declined the position.
And it. felt. good. Ladies and Gents. stay safe and steer clear of this company because they and manipulative scumbags.

A guy from Toronto call me, and got me resume from a third party recruiter. Asked me a few questions about my working experience and invite me for an interview the very next day. Once he sent me the invitation I did a quick read on the job description and it comes to my attention that they want someone to produce “relevant” financial reporting, however the job requires only basic skills in finance. That was big red flag for me! 5 minutes later I cancelled the interview.

Phone interview first, then zoom. Very chatty phone conversation with very little information given about the company. Even the links that were sent presented very generalized information. I understand they're involved in financial counselling from the interview. I was mostly asked whether I want to help people. Of course I do! Who doesn't?
