My interview process was mostly done through emails and two interview phone calls. After reviewing your application, you receive an email by your department manager to schedule an initial phone interview, which will then be followed by a call stating whether or not you will continue in the hiring process. Then you'll receive an email with your contract which you then can review and/or accept.
