I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Princess Cruises (Gdynia) in May 2011
Interview
I received two phone calls from two different recruiters. Second one was from HQ in California. We were talking a little bit about my experience, gear, motivation. Mostly they wanted to know how good is my English and how well I could handle the dialogue with cutomers. After that I was invited for an interview in Gdynia, Poland. There was a little portfolio presentation but again the focus was on my linguistic skills. 2 weeks later I received a phone call that I was hired and my plane tickets to Anchorage, Alaska are on the way.
