      Designer Interview

      Nov 20, 2023
      Anonymous employee
      Cincinnati, OH
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I interviewed at Procter & Gamble (Cincinnati, OH)

      Interview

Hard and time consuming. I went through 3 screening rounds before being offered the position. The personality and online tests are hard. I would study hard for them. They are timed even though they say they aren’t.

      Anonymous employee
      Cincinnati, OH
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble (Cincinnati, OH)

      Interview

The screener is what it is - there’s no getting around that. I had 2 interviews as a co-op and 2 interviews as a full-time employee. I gave an answer to a question that wasn’t what they were looking for, and the interviewer let me know and rephrased the question to direct me where she wanted. You’re asked the “tell me about a time when…” questions first, and then asked hypothetical situation questions. After that I shared my portfolio.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you manage the following projects: one is due tomorrow, one is due next week, one is due next month, and one is due next year.

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Cincinnati, OH
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble (Cincinnati, OH) in Mar 2018

      Interview

Phone call, pretty casual, nothing too serious - conversational, the interviewer did not seem enthusiastic about hiring at the time and expressed that jobs were easier to obtain at P&G by going through their internship Co-op program first - that they do hire people who haven't gone through the program, but it is not as common. Unfortunately, the deadline had passed, and it is only offered to students. Somewhat discouraging to hear, as I was excited about P&G's design department, but it was made clear that my chances were pretty slim considering I was looking for a full-time job.
