Interview
I applied through a college job board and they contacted me in approximately
one day. In the initial phone interview they asked me usual interview type of interview questions about myself personally and my work experience. From there they decided that we should set up an in-person interview. After doing additional research on the company I decided against going to the interview. My decision was based on the fact that I did not want a cold-calling sales type of job however, the base salary is rather appealing.

Question 1
Would you be satisfied in a sales position where you are making cold-calls ALL day long?
They like to hire college grads that aren’t afraid of cold calling and ask if you are comfortable reading a script and getting hung up
On. They explain that you’ll be making 100 plus dials a day and make sure you’re cool with that

It was a good interview. It was fast. Good questions. Entry level interview. It was a good experience. Seems like a good team. Would like to know a little more about the job.

Interview
Recruiter emails you followed by a quick phone call. Then you come into the office to again meet with the recruiter to repeat the phone interview and send 5 minutes on the sales floor. Recruiter takes no notes, during either interview I assume and nothing was remembered. Said recruiter then says this info with the hiring manager to make a decision Seriously??? That’s not professional or standard in the least so thank you for not hiring me. I am not bitter but simply know my worth and would have appreciated a response instead of needing to chase you down.
