I was immediately contacted by HR had a quick screening and the next day had a phone call with the hiring manager. They had me do one more phone call with him before he brought me in for daylong interviews. Rackspace uses panel interviews. Two people will tag team to interview you each hour. I came in and had a daylong interviews with approximately 8 people. After the in person interview, the hiring manager called the person who referred me to ask them about me. I got the job offer the day after the interview. They knew I was being courted by other companies and were able to condense what is normally a three week process down to less than a week.
