Reliable Robotics Sr Simulation Software Engineer interview questions

Referral candidate; ghosted after 5hr on-site interview. In-house recruiter won't respond to follow up. Had referral, on-sight tour, and proceeded through all the interview steps which ended with 5hr "remote on-site". - Wasn't interviewed by prospective team members. - 4 hours of hypothetical / open-ended questions, mostly outside my discipline. - No B&V session. - No questions about my experiences or qualifications. - No questions relevant to a senior role or project leading. - Only one simple coding question. It was a very strange interview. Being asked only hypothetical / open-ended questions was not productive. It turns into a game of, "answer the way I would to impress me". Got to the end and wondered how they could possibly know anything about me???
