I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Remix (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
I applied online, did an initial phone screen with the hiring manager, then was asked to prep for a mock call - this company is big on mock calls/demos/trainings in the interview process. This call probably took 30 -60 min of research prep. The interviewer actually missed the mock call interview time which was nerve-wracking but we rescheduled and it went well. Then I was asked onsite to present a product demo - I was given access ahead of time and probably spent 2-3 hours of prep which wasn't difficult since they had many videos on the website. The rest of the onsite was another meeting with the hiring manager and lunch with different members of the team/culture fit.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Remix (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2020
Interview
An incredibly time consuming process for an entry level position with little experience required. 1st: screening call. 2nd: mock sales call with hiring manager (3 hours of prep for this, learning product and practicing) 3rd: 4 hour interview, including presenting a mock sales pitch (not in job description and took 20 hours of prep) and 30-60-90 plan (2 hours prep) to panels of 4-5 people, 1-1 with hiring manager, 2-1 with other team managers. 4th: extra interview where I was more or less asked to sell my self one last time, under guise of "let's talk candidly about any concerns you have." I was honest which now seems like a mistake. Everyone was VERY kind and friendly and authentic and it seems like a great team, but the reality is this process took more work than any other job I've applied for even though I've been working for 10 years, which was so unreasonable for an entry level position. The tech sector's focus on excruciating interviews for entry level people seems inhumane.
