I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Retool (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2025
Interview
Had 2 rounds and a final round virtual onsite! First round was a screener with the hiring manager, had a take home presentation and then another call with the recruiter before the final round. Final round was 5 interviews. A culture fit, technical round using the product live, speaking with another TAM to discuss how you deal with churn, a VP to understand how you work alongside pre-sales and finally with your skip. There were a few last minute reschedules. All of the interviews were great except the skip who wasn't really paying attention and seemed uninterested in interviewing.

Interview
Great communication throughout and exceptional team! Mostly behavioral with one take home challenge. Everyone that you meet along the way are super kind and welcoming. This role is a combination of technical and customer facing, so having good customer facing and communication/presentation skills is important.

The interview was fair and loved the process.
The only downside was about 8 interviews rounds.
Company is great. People are really great, but the interview process is not that optimum.
