Applied on-line; answered 4 questions - one was about gaming (which has nothing to do with the role). Received an auto email requesting to show availability for phone screening. Date and time selected; a few days before the call, I received an email that the position was eliminated. A week later, I received an email from Glassdoor and other job sites, with a link to apply to the position - shows that it's new. Emailed contact asking about it, zero response. I reached out to a few friends that have worked at Riot, and it seems I'm not missing out.

Suppose you had to inform Rioters of an impending planned power outage on campus. What details would you need upfront? What's the TLDR? Who would you reach out to?

I had a chance to chat with the team about your review to learn more about the situation. The role you applied to was in fact closed due to an impending hire. Unfortunately, unforeseen events required the role to be re-opened, which absolutely would be a source of confusion.
