Question 1
How I envision myself tackling certain common community/user behaviour issues
I have some plus and minus about their process. The recruiters are amazing, they always keep you updated and you never felt like you're waiting in limbo. They also know exactly about the position, so they can walk you through about that particular position you're applying. However, when it comes to efficiency of the process, i feel like they're really really lacking. First of all, there are 5-rounds of interviews, each is 1hr long, and the last one would take 6 whole hours so it feels like the trade-off between your time isn't that great. Second of all, after you submitted your availability, they take time letting you know your interview slots with no time to prep (less than 24hrs). Third, maybe it's just me, but they did change my interviewer last minute (2hrs before the interview), and he wasn't in the same field as the job I applied for. Fourth, they emphasized a lot of things outside of your expertise, e.g: applying for a research job, but interviewer kept pushing on strategic and business metrics.
It's a great experience, the probe questions were great and I can use it for future references, but it's just felt like I was blindsided a lot.
