I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rip Curl in Jun 2012
Interview
You are called in to interview with one of the managers in their back office. The setting is very laid back, and the overall interview takes fifteen minutes or less. They basically ask you questions related to sales and customer service. Experience in sales isn't necessary, but they are looking for people who are easily trained and have good availability.
Very smooth, know surfers. They are generally pretty chill. Make sure that you talk about anything you know about the products already. May also help to know your schedule beforehand
