I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rivian (Palo Alto, CA) in Aug 2025
Interview
I had a phone screen with the head of talent at the company after submitting an application. I did not end up moving forward in the interview process after the call.
Interview process was way too extensive - multiple rounds and ending with a panel interview with 4 different people. I am confident they could've determined whether or not an individual was a fit with 3 rounds - one technical, one cultural, and one intro. The panel is over the top and honestly I felt like such a waste of my time and theirs. And at the end of the day - the place is a revolving door so they still don't know what they're looking for even through making people jump through ALL of the hoops.

Process was pretty easy overall after a recruiting manager reached out to me to join her team. A lot of emphasis on culture fit. This was during COVID, so my onsite was virtual over Zoom.
