I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Robinhood in Dec 2020
Interview
The interview process was extremely smooth! The recruiting team did a fantastic job of explaining the role and helping me to be prepared in my interviews. I had 1 phone call with the recruiter, 1 with my manager and a final interview with 4 employees.
Multiple one-on-one interviews. Each was about 30-40 minutes in length with different members of the team as we as others from relevant groups. Some were technical focused and others were focused on fit.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Robinhood in Dec 2021
Interview
I had a phone interview with HR. I got the sense they were just going through the motions with no intention of giving me a real chance. They rattled off their questions like a checklist and didn't inquire further about anything I said. They responded to my questions as if they had somewhere better to be.
Afterwards, they then ghosted me. Really disheartening experience.
