Multiple interviews and a large scale strategy presentation. The initial interviews were pleasant and positive, The final interview was with a Silicon Valley try hard that’s been drinking their own cool-aid so long that they no longer realise there is a world outside their own experiences.

They asked questions that would give them information about the market and their potential growth strategy, the type of information that you normally have to pay consultants for. Rather than trying to assess candidate competency, experience and culture fit.
