SAS Retail Services Retail Merchandiser interview questions

Quick and easy and I was hired for a job for merchandising magazines and books Recruiter was very friendly during the phone interview. Easy questions and prompt response for new hire paid

Very few questions were asked. The process was mostly just asking if you have merchandising experience and if you have Monday through Friday availability. But, when asked if they were a w2 or 1099 company they refused to disclose that information. Though I am currently filling out onboarding papers there are a couple things that are already making me feel like this place is less than legit. Part time in the handbook is listed as up to 35 hours but you don't get healthcare or have the same benefits as the full time employees who are only defined as working 5 hours more than you. Onboarding staff are sending multiple emails telling me to hurry up on the paperwork to a level that feels like harassment. I've gotten 3 messages in a 20 minute time frame telling me to hurry up and have someone verify my i9 documents today. Pretty sure I'm going to pass on this place. Something seems sketchy here.
