Interview process: Fairly straightforward. I met with several leaders over several interviews. None of the interviews were particularly hard.
The process was well organized by the senior HR leader.
The company has an amazing heritage and high-quality products. Craftsmanship is paramount at SAS.

Simply said, the CEO is toxic.
Sadly the CEO spent our conversation speaking negatively about various leaders on her team. She did not just call out their downfalls or opportunities but was visibly disgusted with them.
In retrospect, it was clear that several of her direct reports (that I interviewed with) were covering for her. They hinted at her personality and way of working but tried to sugarcoat it.
