I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SHRM (Bengaluru)
Interview
Very quick interview process. The process was entirely on skype which saved costs and effective time management. There were 2 rounds of interviews and both in quick succession with relevant questions and a response in 3 days time. I was quite impressed.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SHRM (Alexandria, VA) in Apr 2016
Interview
Application - 2 weeks wait - Scheduled Call with Recruiter - 1 week wait - Scheduled In Person Interview with Hiring Manager (C-level)
Although positive at the begining - ultimately I NEVER heard back from them - not even via an automated rejection letter. As a HUMAN RESOURCES ORGANIZATION I expected SHRM to model the behavior you expect from the community they service and TEACH. Not to mention that at a point I was asked the year I graduated High School -obviously not pertinent to the discussion as the role requied at least a College Degree, so it was rather a clever way to ask an illegal question.
VERY DISSAPOINTING - to say the least!

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were no difficult or unexpected questions. It was all pretty standard interview questions. The 2nd interview was an exercise of questions from a behavioral assessment packet. The interviewer's time management of the process could have been better. He spent the entire time asking those questions, which left very little time for me to ask the questions I prepared. I did ask a few.
