I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SSE (Havant, England) in Jul 2015
Interview
I applied online week ago. Received email to book an assessment event. I have been to event today. It was easy and straight forward.
It starts with ice breaker which candidates splitted into groups to know each other and introduce to the whole room. Try to remember as many as things about fellow candidates.
Next thing is presentation is SSE. Please research as much as possible before goto event. They will make a note who knows more especially about awards they received in recent years.
Group tasks- listening to customer call and find out what went good and bad and how to improve. Then, they will give you few cards about their values and safety msgs. We need to rank them as a group and present back to them.
Maths test- if you shortlisted for first stage to book assessment event, they will send you a copy of maths attached with email to practice. Easy questions.
Ability test- they give random customer bill to identify basic things like acc number,postcode.,etc.
When you done all of these, they will take 5 mins to discuss which candidates staying for interview.
Key things-
1. Reseach the company a lot especially their core values.
2. Talk and ask questions as many as possible.
3. Answer questions about the company.
4. Try to be loud and bossy in group tasks.
I didnt get thru to interview. I think because of my language issue. But i did better on research and tests. I requested the feedback to find out.

Online video interview, Q And A
Very interactive and relax. The interviewers were professional and I was able to ask my questions, which they responded professionally as interview is a two way , as cultural fit is important for me too.
The interview process was via Microsoft Teams, two interviewers and they made sure I was relaxed and felt comfortable before proceeding with the real interview questions. The interview lasted 30 minutes.
