Interview
Initial screening is automatic from what you enter on the website and your CV. The next step would be the mathematics and reasoning test, the time is quite limited so get plenty of practice beforehand with similar tests. If succeed, you will get one online interview and the one in-person interview.

Applied on the 28th Oct, did an SHL assessment test, called for a recorded timed interview 2 weeks later. 2 weeks after got into the final virtual assessment centre and result came out in the same week. So overall process is in <2 months

Interview
There were some psychometric tests and prerecorded video interviews, then one virtual assessment centre in live-time with 4 other candidates. This was split into two halves; the first half was working together as a team to make a decision against certain criteria. The second half was a competency based 1:1 interview with established engineers at SSE .
