Sam Houston State Assistant Professor interview questions

It was one of the most disrespectful interviews I had ever given. I had a 5 member panel who initially introduced themselves during the Zoom meeting. I had introduced myself in return without them asking and a couple of members in the panel seemed really annoyed I had introduced myself without their request. Subsequently, one of the agitated panel members remained annoyed throughout the entire short interview period and she had a small dog run in next to her and she was looking at her dog while I was giving my answer. Similarly, none of the other panel members seemed interested in what I was stating and they were clicking their mouse or looking at other materials on their screens. They ended up hiring an adjunct faculty member who was working with the department for a long period of time and his expertise did not match the job description. Really a waste of my time. Kindly do not waste the valuable time of productive perspective faculty members.
