      Cabin Crew Interview

      Aug 13, 2017
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Melbourne
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scoot (Melbourne) in Jul 2017

      Interview

Applied online through Altara, invited to complete and online video interview. They asked roughly 9 questions, they give you 1 minute to think about your answer and only 2 try's to record. After you've successfully completed the online video component you wait. I received and email with in 3 days inviting me to attend the assesment day. So, I arrived early to the Assessment Day, and there was at least another 70-80 girls and boys all in the one room, daunting. We were all required to sign in and they sat us around a table which seated roughly 10-12 people, they introduced themselves and explain what the role would entail and spoke about tiger as a company. We were then asked to stand up and speak about ourselves for 2 minutes while the recruiters watched and listened, they then give you a group activity and you have to work together for 5 minutes and come up with an answer. It was now time for a break they send you out of the room for 30 minutes and they then call you back in but place you at a completely different table with new people. The second part of the group interview, we were given another group task, this time the question was "how would you make these first time flyers feel comfortable... ect" the recruiter on the table "listening" didn't seem the slightest bit interested, and look else where while we were explaining, it's hard to stand out when you're not paid attention to. Lastly, they send you for another lunch break, when you're all called back they hand you a piece of paper in front of everyone, and it lets you know if you're successsful (nvited for a one on one interview the same day) or if you're unsuccessful. Good luck, you'll need it.
