The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sears (Manhasset, NY) in Oct 2011
Interview
I had an automated interview after I completed my online application. I went into HR and waiting 25 minutes. After waiting, someone came and told me the real HR manager wasn't there so she would try to do the interview. She asked me what position I was looking for and left for 2 minutes. Came back to say that they were not hiring in that position (despite what it said online) and that they might have an operning in 2-3 months.
What a waste of time.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sears (North Attleboro, MA) in Nov 2021
Interview
It was a very unprofessional, almost desperate like interview from their part. They immediately just asked about my availability as well as how quickly and I could start. Mind you now it was the week of Thanksgiving and they were expecting me to start on Black Friday right at Midnight. I'm not that stupid
The interview was by phone first. They call you to verify your information and ask if you are interested I. Whatever schedule/part time or full time they have open. at the moment I wanted full time so I declined their offer but it seems like a good company to get your foot in the door with.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Are you interested in a part time position and are you flexible with schedule
The interview process was relaxed and easy going. I felt very comfortable and the manager told me about the job and answered any questions I had. I was made an offer the next day.
