Interview
I recently had an interview at Seasons 52 in Los Angeles for a serving position. The female floor manager, who's name escapes me at the moment, administered the interview. Initially I was relieved based on first impressions. She seemed friendly and laid back, putting my mind at ease. When the interview got underway the vibe reversed. The questions, and interview itself felt more like an interrogation behind enemy lines than an interview for a job at a restaurant. Toward the end of the interview she seemed to just mentally check out as though she already made her decision. She asked the last few questions in a reluctant manner, and when I made my response, she didn't even seem to be paying attention. I would be speaking to her trying to make eye contact and she would be looking around the room less than interested. At one point she interrupted me to yell something at another employee and didn't apologize or excuse herself. Overall it wasn't a great interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was the most difficult thing I had to deal with at my previous job, and how did I go about handling it?
Very easy interview process. Spoke with the franchise owner, hosting manager, and serving manager (in training). The three of them interviewed me one-on-one and were very easy to talk to.

Interview
Typical. They ask a lot of personal questions. What are your hobbies? What do you like to do for fun? Why do you want to work here? Where do you live? Do you know about Darden?
