I applied for the position and received an automated interview invitation within 24 hours of submission. It was a virtual interview with the recruiter. The recruiter was not prepared with my resume, which I tried to provide in the interview via Teams and it seemed to not allow sharing of files, so I had to email it to them after. Straight forward questions, though my interviewer appear bored with interviewing me. I understand seeming impartial, but the recruiter could express some curiosity instead of coming across as "phoning it in". Claimed that the incumbent had been with the prior Executive for their 10 year duration, however I had interacted with that specific individual in my prior role, being introduced to them when they started in 2021. They only started supporting the executive less than 4 years prior, so the information the recruiter shared was incorrect. I was also running on very little sleep for the past week prior to my interview due to an illness in my household, so should have probably prefaced that at in my interview. I did not perform as strong as I would have liked in my recruiter interview, but was still a strong candidate and think the process of screening should be improved for future candidates.
