I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Sectra in Feb 2021
Interview
Here was my process which took about 3 months: 1. Webcam interview with a recruiter 2. Webcam interview with a project manager and the country office boss 3. Interview/case-solving with two project managers in person 4. Tests (cognitive test, reading and understanding test etc) 5. Was sent an offer which was agreed upon 6. Interview with the CEO (webcam interview). A very lengthy recruitment process that, in my case, ended up resulting in nothing. Before embarking on this recruitment process, ask yourself if you value your time. If you do, don't commit to any interviews at this company. The CEO has the right to turn down anyone regardless if the others like you. To me, it seems like the CEO likes to intimidate his interviewees and ask questions that are totally unrelated to the work you will be doing there. The CEO will not know anything about you as he doesn't read your CV before the interview. Be prepared for anything during the interview with the CEO, and also rather personal questions in my opinion (like what your parents and your partner do for a living). The Sectra employers I met seemed happy to work there but I think there is definitely something wrong with how they handle applicants.

Question 1
1. How many gas stations are there in XX country? 2. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, which would it be?
I applied online. I interviewed at Sectra (Mississauga, ON) in May 2026
Interview
HR screening, then lengthy cognitive and personality tests followed by 3 interviews with hiring manager and directors. Communication between the interviews was relatively quick and then radio silence after the final interview.
The recruiters are very helpful. It seems like a top down interview process in general. It didn’t seem to matter how you did at each step until the end. It was about one month.
The first call is from a recruiter, the second from a hiring manager, the third is a panel interview, and the final is with an executive. They were pretty quick about getting in touch with me.
The screening with the recruiter and the initial interview were very positive experiences, people were quite nice and gave a very good idea of the job. However, the panel interview - good luck. Don't be more poised in the interview than the panel will like because they will claim that it's AI and will ask you extremely condescending questions about your knowledge and your ability. If you are smarter than them in any way or well prepared for your interview, they will treat it as a threat.
All in all, if this is the culture at the company - full of people that are looking to undermine you or exclude you immediately, this is probably not the company for you.
