Question 1
Share about a time you had to prioritize work.
Give an example of how you communicated bad news to stakeholders.
Like others have mentioned, there is a behavioral/aptitude quiz that takes up 20-40 minutes of your time. I guess this is somewhat relevant for a role such as a Product Manager, but it felt like a massive waste of time.
After this, you are asked to provide a Product Requirements Document writing sample with very little details / instructions. If you ask the recruiter for clarification, good luck because it's a team of interns.
After this is meeting with the hiring manager followed by a final round of panels with the other Product leaders.
Overall, this part was fun and engaging. However, the process overall is very poorly managed. Sezzle seems to have no dedicated team for managing the recruitment process, let alone coordinating communication with the candidate. They lose information about your application, forget to schedule your interviews and don't update you about the decision until you email them first.
The Product team seems to be a very good group of people, however the hiring experience was overall subpar and seems to shed light on how the organization overall is run and how they respect others' time.
Compensation for a PM role here is also significantly BELOW the market rate.
