This week I had an interview for a BizOps Analyst position in Herzliya — an in-person interview (which is already a bit of a rarity these days ).
Most of the conversation was led by HR, who went through my resume and work experience — but focused mostly on roles that had nothing to do with the position or the BizOps domain.
The team lead was present but barely participated.
In the end, the interview didn’t feel professional at all — no relevant questions, no attempt to understand my analytical or business skills.
And of course, the familiar generic email followed: “We decided to move forward with other candidates.”
A bit disappointing, because it really felt like a waste of time for both sides.
