Our Technical Interview is essentially a role-play of what your daily workflow would be like were you to accept the position here in Shopify. There will be times in the Support Advisor role where you will need to multi-task, moving between coordinating with your own team while also helping our merchants with their questions. This interview will give you a taste of what your day to day work life could be like; though it is intended to be a stress test of sorts!
It's important to remember that from our end, we understand you are under pressure and most likely a little anxious during the interview. Which is totally normal, interviews can be stressful! So it's best to take your time and give yourself space to think clearly - as long as you're using the resources you have available to you, and you're letting your personality come through so the merchant feels supported, you're giving yourself the best chance to succeed here.
