      Somewhat difficult interview that puts the meaning of multitasking in question. It made me sweat a bit juggling between windows and scouring the net for answers as expected. The manager was friendly in the process and very accommodating.

      Hey, thanks for posting! Our Technical Interview is essentially a role-play of what your daily workflow would be like were you to accept the position here in Shopify. There will be times in the Support Advisor role where you will need to multi-task, moving between coordinating with your own team while also helping our merchants with their questions. This interview will give you a taste of what your day to day work life could be like; though it is intended to be a stress test of sorts! It's important to remember that from our end, we understand you are under pressure and most likely a little anxious during the interview. Which is totally normal, interviews can be stressful! So it's best to take your time and give yourself space to think clearly - as long as you're using the resources you have available to you, and you're letting your personality come through so the merchant feels supported, you're giving yourself the best chance to succeed here. I do hope you'll consider applying again in future, I'm sure you'd be a great addition to our team. Thanks again for the review!

      multiple questions asking about experience. Also questions about how I would react to a situation. Then asked how I was reply in said email. Pretty generic and bland. Most likely just used to quickly go through applicants without actually meeting them in person.

      Interview

      The first interview is very relaxed where you chat with the hiring coordinator for an hour or so telling them about yourself. There was a lot of communication between each interview session. They are very thorough and the technical test (The Gauntlet) was intimidating but a great way to find the most suitable candidate for Shopify.
