Question 1
Walk me thru your experience, how much experience do you have writing policies and procedures?
I applied online. I interviewed at Sidley Austin (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview process was much longer than initially communicated and required a significant time commitment, with multiple rounds spread over several weeks. Some conversations were more challenging than others, which I expected, but overall the discussions were thoughtful and gave a good sense of the team and role.
However, after the final stage, communication completely stopped. Despite following up, I never received an update or any closure on the outcome. Being ghosted after investing that much time in the process was disappointing.

Long. Phone screen, 2-2hour rounds with a new person every half hour. Drink options were provided. Everyone was friendly, but didn’t want to be there. Lots of waiting because you were on the 37th floor and everyone interviewing you was on 12.

The interview involved multiple people from several departments, including lawyers. A lot of competency questions: how you do that, how you use the data, what you are looking for. I was also given a hypothetical to describe what my approach would be in a particular situation.
