Question 1
Nothing really difficult. Mainly it was me talking about my past experience. HR had some behavioral questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sierra Nevada Corporation
Interview
Initial phone screen with HR, followed by phone interview with hiring manager, then in person interview with hiring manager and several other engineers. Was ok until in person then overly focused on knowledge of textbook concepts rather than work experience. A lot of the discussion was about things that didn’t even apply since that facility doesn’t operate as a regular production line.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sierra Nevada Corporation (Hagerstown, MD) in Oct 2017
Interview
Phone screen with HR, phone screen with hiring manager, and finally an on-site Hagerstown, MD.
At first, everything went smoothly and I enjoyed the on-site interview. However, SNC was slow in its decision-making (slower than molasses) as seems to be the case with every SNC interview ever.
I was told that the hiring manager did not make a decision by the date promised, and actually wanted to continue interview other candidates. Luckily, I had another offer from a much bigger and better aerospace company. I was too happy to give SNC a taste of their own medicine and subsequently ghosted them, ignoring their idiotic suggestion to "wait it out." After a few weeks, I received a form email that the position was put on hold or eliminated.
Thank you SNC for being a complete waste of time yet again. This has happened to me with SNC twice before, so this was the third and final straw for me.
Not only will I refuse to apply to SNC, I will actively discourage anyone else from applying to this company because they gladly waste your time.
