Interview
It was a smooth process with a preliminary round combining behavior and a coding question.
It followed the panel interview that were 5 rounds. You have the option to schedule them either on the same day or different days. They will be a combination of behavioral (SAL method), coding and design rounds.
After all the rounds are cleared, you will be reached by your HR to send a formal offer with a following call to explain the details and benefits.
I started with a recruiter screening, followed by a technical interview. The interview focused on algorithms, object-oriented design, and testing fundamentals. I was asked to solve coding problems and discuss mobile test automation frameworks and tools. There were also behavioral questions using Snap’s SAIL method, where I had to talk about past experiences, problem-solving, and how I collaborated with teams. Overall, it was a balanced mix of technical and behavioral questions with a focus on Snap's values.
