Once selected, you have to upload a personal snap story. Next, you have a phone interview. It took seven weeks to hear back whether or not I would get the position. Seven weeks. I would understand a lengthy timeline if they were hiring for a higher level management position, but seven weeks for an entry level position (that is part-time) is a joke. I don't know where the ball was dropped, but other tech companies (Facebook, Google, Uber) are much more respectful of your time and talent. I get it, Snap Inc. is an exciting company right now. However, there are plenty of other great companies that don't strap you down with indecision for nearly two months. Spend time recruiting at places that value their candidates more because HR says a lot about the company culture and how they value their employees.
