Interview
I applied through linkedin. Got email from recruiter in few days asking me to schedule a phone call on her calendar. I did it for a Friday and waited for her call, which never came. So I sent her a message asking if she’d like to reschedule. I got a generic excuse and we rescheduled for Monday. I didn’t get a call, but got an email next day apologizing for it and we rescheduled again for Wednesday. Again, no call and not even an apology but I got an auto generated calendar invite saying the meeting has been moved to Thursday. So on Thursday, I was pretty sure I am not going to receive the call, which is exactly what happened. Now I have an invite for the call on Monday, which I am going to decline. If this us any indication of the level of professionalism they have, I wouldn’t want to be a part of it.

Question 1
Would you be ok if we keep rescheduling the call 5 times with zero notice before the scheduled time?
One initial screening call. Then 1 coding screen. Then an on-site with 3 coding rounds and 1 system design round. All the rounds were pretty straightforward DSA patterns and SD was also a common question you read about in SD interview prep books.
Hard but interesting. Had to go through 1 HM round, 2 coding rounds and 2 systems design rounds. Coding round was hit counter, and message recommendation system. The System design rounds were a bit challenging.

Design a recommendation system for messaging to predict the next word while typing
For the technical rounds, I was asked leetcode style questions. Need to practice Data structures and algorithms in order to do well on the interviews. It's important to explain the code as you go along and clarfiy any questions with the interviewer.
