Rescheduled Interview 3 Times! Do not waste your time.
I was referred to this marketing ops. associate position through a good friend, who is a production manager and has nothing but good things to say about Snap. But, unfortunately, I had a horrible .unprofessional interview experience with them.
The interview process took 3+ weeks; I was asked to first be interviewed by the HR rep for the phone screener. I responded right away with my availability, didn’t hear from the rep for another week apologizing that they for some reason didn’t get my initial email in her inbox – went to their spam, etc.
Then asked if I could move forward that same day… But I still responded and confirmed the call for that same day. The time for the call rolled around, and I waited by the phone for 30minutes+ then emailing to check if they needed to reschedule. No response.
After I just about gave up on trying to get a phone call, a week later rolls by, and the rep then apologies again for my emails getting pushed.. we then rescheduled the call for that same day.
Finally, they contacted me for our phone screener call, the call was actually pleasant. But they seemed extremely rushed and said that the hiring manager had already taken a look at my resume and was excited to speak with me. The call lasted less than 15min and felt good about the next phone call with the hiring manager.
Scheduled the next round interview with the manager, then it was once again rescheduled due to a medical emergency…....this was the third reschedule during the entire process.
Moved forward, and rescheduled the call for a couple of days.
Time for the Hiring Manager’s interview and they ended up being 10 minutes late, after rescheduling! And on top of that, this interview also lasted under 25 minutes, and they were rushed to hoop off.
I was very confident that I was a key fit role and the team - I could barely speak about my professional experience before they hooped off. But the way that the HR rep spoke about how the hiring manager reviewed my resume before we were to even spoke made me think I was a shoe-in for the role.
Writing this review today in hope that this does not happen to another great candidate. Snap please respect the time of candidates – especially during this difficult time.
