A few rounds, all went super well. The final round we went over on time because we hit it off so well, seemed like a great fit. Followed up multiple times with HR and they just kept saying the hiring person I last interviewed with was out of town and would be back soon. Then got a generic thanks but no thanks.
Was overall very odd considering all that we discussed

Referral, Recruiter Interview, then Ghosted.... I checked the Jobs Portal just to make sure I had been rejected months later... Such a shame that a major company is willing to lack the follow through on a referral, but I guess that's the time we live in...
