I applied online. I interviewed at Snap in May 2021
Interview
The first interview was a 1-hour call with Software Engineer. Questions based on my previous projects and two coding questions. It went well, and I got selected for Onsite.
Onsite was 5 hours with five different engineers. It went amazing. I loved the conversation with Software Engineers and liked the way they work.
Now it's been a month, and I have not heard anything back from Snap. I followed up with the Recruiter 3 times but no reply.
It's frustrating for candidates to find a job as we have to go through many applications and interviews. A simple courtesy of reply regarding status is not a big deal for such a large organization.
I messaged a recruiter on LinkedIn who was able to get me a technical interview. After the initial get-to-know-each-other questions, I was asked two leetcode type of questions on hackerrank. The interviewer was very nice and patient even when I froze and couldn't think clearly.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Snap (Santa Monica, CA) in Dec 2022
Interview
Recruiter reached out through LinkedIn, I was scheduled for a technical interview with a SWE. Figured out later that my grad date doesn't match what they were looking for :/

Interview
30 minute interview with trivial programming questions and behavioral questions
followed by 5 hour project based interview with 4 rounds, 5 parts, a 30 minute break, and 30 min QA
My interview experience was very poor. I solved all problems efficiently and my interviewers had positive feedback. However, after 2 weeks of silence I was rejected without explanation.
